Microsoft vulnerability allowed users to alter Bing search results and access Outlook email accounts
Microsoft’s Bing search engine had a dangerous vulnerability that let users modify search results and access other Bing users’ private information. Researchers from Wiz discovered the misconfiguration in Azure’s identity and access management service, which allowed any Azure user to access applications without authorization. Over 1,000 apps and websites on Microsoft’s cloud had similar misconfiguration vulnerabilities.
